Pumpkin (pie) leather

Pumpkin seems to be incorporated in every single recipe you see during this month- and for good reason. Pumpkin is awesome!

From time to time, I like to experiment with my food dehydrator and see what I can come up with. I love making fruit leather, and my favorite flavor is watermelon. I’ve only experimented with a few different kinds so far because I got so stuck on watermelon (hmmm… maybe I should try apple next!).

After three attempts over the last 3 days, I finally created a successful batch of pumpkin leather. AKA pumpkin fruit roll-ups!

The taste like little rolls of pumpkin pie. 🙂

Pumpkin (pie) fruit roll-ups

1 c. pumpkin puree

2 T water

1 T agave nectar

1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Mix ingredients together well and place on fruit leather try (comes with standard if you have a Nesco food dehydrator). Turn temperature to 135˚. Let dry for 4 hours. Cool and slice.
